The Aviator's Review is a quarterly student-run aviation magazine from Pakistan, produced by the Diploma in Aviation and Business Management programme at AIM. This Fall 2026 edition features research and articles written by students, covering historical, technological and industry topics in aviation.

The editorial note by founding editor Farhan Kamal Azeemi explains the magazine's purpose: giving students a platform to share original research and engage with the aviation industry beyond standard coursework. The table of contents lists articles on supersonic passenger travel, women in aviation, Loyal Wingman technology, AI in aviation, and sustainability.

The Inspiration and Legacy section profiles Pilot Officer Rashid Minhas Shaheed, the youngest recipient of Pakistan's Nishan-e-Haider award. On 20 August 1971, he crashed his T-33 jet trainer to prevent it from being flown to India by a defector, sacrificing his life.

The Loyal Wingman article examines Pakistan's next airpower challenge: manned-unmanned teaming with collaborative combat aircraft. It discusses Pakistan's existing unmanned systems including the Shahpar family and Bayraktar TB2, regional competition from India's CATS Warrior and China's FH-97, and the industrial limitations Pakistan faces in developing operational collaborative combat aircraft.

The Women in Aviation section profiles Shukriya Khanum, Pakistan's first female Commercial Pilot License holder in 1959; Arjumand Ahmad, among the first female cabin crew at PIA; Dr. Sara Qureshi, an aerospace engineer with a PhD from Cranfield University; and Mehwish Anwar, PIA's first female flying engineer who completed her first flight in December 2024.
