Bonfire Night Remember, Remember! Every year on November 5th, the British celebrate Bonfire Night. They remember Guy Fawkes, who tried to blow up Parliament in 1605. People gather to light huge bonfires, burn a dummy called "the Guy," and watch spectacular fireworks displays lighting up the autumn sky.
