HousingColorado.org • #HoCoConference2025 1 Welcome to the 2025 Housing Colorado Conference! We are so pleased to welcome you to Keystone for three days of learning, networking, and some fun. As you look out the large glass windows of the Keystone Conference Center, you will notice a small grove of aspen trees. We have taken inspiration from the aspen tree this year, not only for the conference, but our work together as an affordable housing community. The aspen, as you may know, is one of the largest organisms in the world. Aspen stands grow not as clusters of solitary trees, but rather from an interconnected system of roots that form enormous underground networks. As the roots grow beneath the earth, new aspen trees appear above ground. What appears to be an individual tree, in reality, is a different expression of one organism—the health and survival of which is intrinsically dependent on the health and survival of each tree on the surface. We hope that you feel that same sense of interconnectedness for these three days and beyond as we work for a Colorado where every resident has a safe, healthy, quality affordable home in a thriving community. Our time in the mountains will be one of remembering our connection to other people and ideas in order to make that vision of Colorado a reality. And so, we hope that what you gain here will follow you back so that you may continue your work and you may foster growth in your own grove of aspens. Thank you for being with us this week. We look forward to a great Conference! Your Co-Chairs, Tatiana and Kim Greetings Housing Colorado Conference Attendees! Special Events Wednesday 12:00 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. Breaking New Ground: A Housing Abundance That Delivers for All of Us, No Exceptions Columbine Ballroom The best solutions to our housing challenges emerge from our communities. When we nurture those solutions and let them thrive, we break new ground toward a future of true housing abundance. Across Colorado, leaders—from tenant advocates to housing developers, homelessness providers to mortgage bankers— are advancing solutions across the housing ecosystem. Yet the real power of this moment lies in aligning those efforts, building solidarity across the field, and forging bold partnerships that cross sectors and perspectives. Progress won’t come simply because the need is urgent—it will come because we make the case, seize the moment, and work together to fast-track solutions. In this keynote, Dr. Tiffany Manuel will show how breaking new ground requires more than removing barriers; it demands building public will, strengthening coalitions, centering those most in need, and partnering across sectors to ensure housing abundance—for all of us, no exceptions. speaker: Dr. Tiffany Manuel she/her, President and CEO, TheCaseMade Wednesday 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Welcome & Exhibitor Networking Reception Colorado Rockies Ballroom Kick off the conference right!
