Treated Air Drying, filtration, and purification control moisture and other contaminants to achieve the air quality required by the application. Compressed Air Compression transforms atmospheric air into an industrial energy source, carrying its original contaminants into the compressed-air system. Atmospheric Air Air drawn from the surrounding environment contains water vapor, particles, oil, and other potential contaminants. THE ORIGIN OF COMPRESSED AIR Atmospheric air carries water vapor, particles, oil, and other contaminants from its surrounding environment. As it enters the compressor, these substances can remain in the compressed-air stream and be carried throughout the system. As compressed air moves through cooling and distribution stages, its moisture content and overall quality must be controlled to meet downstream equipment and process requirements. For applications requiring lower pressure dew points, desiccant drying provides an effective approach to achieving deeper moisture removal. Compressed air quality depends on how effectively contaminants are controlled throughout the system. Appropriate air treatment helps protect downstream equipment, support process reliability, and maintain the air conditions required by each application. - Contaminant Control - Moisture Control - Application-Ready Air Filtration and purification help reduce unwanted particles, oil, and other contaminants in compressed air. Drying technologies remove moisture from compressed air. Desiccant air dryers provide deep drying for applications requiring lower pressure dew points. Combining suitable treatment technologies helps deliver compressed air that meets the requirements of downstream equipment and industrial processes. 1 2 3 ATMOSPHERIC AIR FROM ATMOSPHERIC AIR TO RELIABLE PRODUCTIONThe Origin of Compressed Air — 0708 — From Atmospheric Air To Reliable Productiion Note : houses of hydraulic machine image Industrial Application Reliable compressed-air treatment helps protect downstream equipment, maintain process consistency, and support product quality.INTRODUCTION — A
Particles Dust and solid particles can enter the compressed-air system and remain in the air stream. The potential impacts are equipment wear, blockage, process contamination. Moisture Water vapour can condense as compressed air cools, causing corrosion and moisture-related problems. The potential impacts are corrosion, condensate, downstream moisture problems. Oil & Oil Mist Oil may enter compressed air as droplets, aerosols, or vapour from the compression system. The potential impacts are equipment contamination, process contamination, product contamination. Other Contaminants Depending on the application, compressed air may also contain microorganisms and other unwanted substances. The potential impacts are reduced air quality, increased process risk.Understanding Compressed Air Contaminants — 0910 — Defining Compressed Air Quality What Is Carried in Compressed Air? Atmospheric air contains various contaminants that can enter the compressed-air system during compression and distribution. Depending on the system and application, these contaminants may affect equipment performance, air quality, and production reliability. What Quality Does Your Application Require? Compressed air quality depends on the level of contamination an application can tolerate. Particle, oil, and moisture control must be considered according to downstream equipment, operating conditions, and process requirements. Pressure Dew Point (PDP) is the temperature at which water vapour in compressed air begins to condense at the prevailing pressure. It is an important indicator of compressed-air dryness. A lower PDP indicates a lower moisture content under the stated measurement conditions. The required PDP depends on the application and operating environment. When a process requires a lower pressure dew point than conventional refrigerated drying can provide, desiccant drying may be considered. UNDERSTANDING COMPRESSED AIR CONTAMINANTS DEFINING COMPRESSED AIR QUALITYINTRODUCTION — APDP PRESSURE DEW POINT A Key Indicator of Air Dryness Three Key Aspects of Air Quality - Moisture Control - Particle Control - Oil Control Lower PDP Cleaner & Dryer Air Lower PDP Cleaner & Dryer Air Drying controls water vapour to achieve the required level of air dryness and reduce condensation- related problems. Filtration helps control solid particles to meet the cleanliness requirements of downstream equipment and processes. Appropriate treatment helps control oil contamination according to the requirements of the application. 1 2 3
DD-069AH Refrigerated Air DryerHow Twin Tower Drying Works Two Towers, Continuous Drying Refrigerated air dryers remove moisture by cooling compressed air and separating the condensed water. However, applications requiring lower pressure dew points may need a different drying approach. Desiccant air dryers use a moisture-adsorbing material to remove water vapour from compressed air. This makes them suitable for applications requiring deeper moisture removal than conventional refrigerated drying can typically provide. When Conventional Drying Is Not Enough Twin-tower desiccant air dryers combine moisture adsorption with periodic regeneration to maintain drying operation. The regeneration method and operating configuration determine how the desiccant is restored for the next cycle. DELLAIR Twin Tower Desiccant Air Dryers provide different regeneration configurations to suit varying compressed-air requirements and operating priorities. DQH SERIES WORKING PRINCIPLEDQH SERIES WORKING PRINCIPLEDQH SERIES WORKING PRINCIPLE The DELLAIR DQH Series uses two desiccant towers that operate alternately to provide a continuous supply of dry compressed air. While one tower removes moisture from the incoming compressed air, the other regenerates its desiccant using a portion of the dried air from the outlet. This process allows the dryer to operate without an external heating source.16 — DQH Series Working Conditions & Product RangeHEATLESS REGENERATION SERIES — B1 Moist compressed air enters the active tower and passes through the desiccant bed, where water vapour is adsorbed. The dried air then flows through the outlet check valve to the downstream compressed-air system. 01 — Adsorption When a tower becomes saturated, it is taken offline and depressurized. The reduction in pressure helps release moisture retained in the desiccant, preparing the bed for regeneration. 02 — Pressure Release A portion of the dried compressed air is directed through the inactive tower at a lower pressure. As the purge air passes through the desiccant bed, it carries the released moisture out through the exhaust path. 03 — Purge-Air Regeneration After regeneration, the tower is re-pressurized before returning to service. The towers then exchange roles: the regenerated tower resumes adsorption while the other tower begins its regeneration cycle. 04 — Re-pressurization & Tower SwitchingDQH Series Working Principle — 15Heatless Regeneration Diagram WorkNote : 01 & 04 — Release valve 02 & 03 — Intake valve 05 & 06 — Silencer 07 & 08 — Intake distributor 09 & 10 — Adsorption Bucket 11 & 12 — Diffuser 13 & 14 — Pressure gauge tower A & B 15 & 16 — Outlet check valve 17 — Regenerative gas regulating valve51 31971121 61 71 531 21 08461 4 DQH Series Product RangeMODELAIR CAPACITY (m3/min.)AIR CONNECTION INLET OUTLET (Inc. & DN)DIMENSIONS (mm)WEIGHT (kg)LENGTHWIDTHHEIGHTDQH-0151.51"7905101613134DQH-0262.61"9106051297165DQH-0383.81½"9806301530205DQH-0696.91½"10106801580276DQH-110112"11307001907350DQH-14014DN 6511009801885543DQH-18018DN 65123010001952646DQH-22022DN 80123010002174710DQH-28028DN 80141011002178900DQH-32032DN 801480115022501006DQH-38038DN 1001480131023311041DQH-46046DN 1001718132023001270DQH-55055DN 1251800155023861548DQH-67067DN 1251960165023421897DQH-75075DN 1252150165022842382DQH-85085DN 1502230178023722600DQH-95095DN 1502230190023663072DQH-1100110DN 1502230185024333474DQH-1300130DN 2002420209029204057DQH-1500150DN 2002556206831324484DQH-1800180DN 2002704216831905195DQH-2000200DN 2002909223332286187WORKING CONDITIONSIAT.≤ 38℃Working Pressure0.6~1.0 MPaAir Consumption≤ -13%Inlet Oil Content≤ 0.1 ppmPressure Dew Point-20 ~ -40℃AdsorbentAluminaControl ModeMicrocomputer Automatic Control Note : Performance data may vary according to inlet conditions, working pressure, ambient conditions and selected configuration.

HOW TO SELECT THE RIGHT DRYER 01 — 04 — 03 — Determine Air Flow (m³/min) Select The Appropriate Model Define Application Requirements Review the conditions at the dryer inlet and the requirements of the compressed-air system before selecting a model. These factors influence dryer performance and configuration. Inlet Pressure (bar or MPa) Pressure Dew Point (°C) Inlet Air Temperature (°C) Regeneration & Pre-Treatment (Air consumption and inlet-air preparation) 02 — Check Operating Conditions
