The world is a colourful tapestry of languages, cultures and traditions. From the busy streets of Kuala Lumpur to the historic cities of Europe and the vibrant communities of Asia, people communicate in thousands of different languages. Each language has its own unique sounds, words and expressions that reflect the identity and culture of its speakers. Language is more than a tool for communication. It carries the history, values and traditions of a community. A simple greeting, for example, can reveal how a culture expresses respect and friendliness.
