O God, As we begin our Rotary meeting, we pause to give You thanks for the blessings of this day. We are thankful that we can share in the food that has been provided, and we remember those who struggle with hunger. We thank You for this time of fellowship with friends and fellow Rotarians, and we are mindful of those who suffer loneliness and feel that they face life’s burdens alone. We give thanks for our health and wellbeing, and we ask Your blessings upon those who are challenged by poor health and are dealing with illness. We are grateful for the opportunities for service to our community and pray that you will bless those in need who may benefit from our service as well as the efforts of others. Grant Your blessing in all these things, and for this time we share, we pray, Amen INSIDE ROYALEINSIDE ROYALE ROTARY CLUB OF MARIKINA ROYALE PRAYERROTARY CLUB OF MARIKINA ROYALE PRAYERROTARY CLUB OF MARIKINA ROYALE PRAYERROTARY CLUB OF MARIKINA ROYALE PRAYER 0404 ROYALE RIPPLEROYALE RIPPLE

THE ENGINE BEHIND THE RIPPLE THE ENGINE BEHIND THE RIPPLE Antalya City Guiding principles we share with Rotarians around the world include The Four-Way Test. One of the world’s most widely printed and quoted statements of business ethics, The Four-Way Test was created in 1932 by Rotarian Herbert J. Taylor (who later served as RI president) when he was asked to take charge of a company facing bankruptcy. This 24-word test for employees to follow in their business and professional lives became the guide for sales, production, advertising, and all relations with dealers and customers, and the survival of the company is credited to this simple philosophy. The Four-Way Test was adopted by Rotary in 1943. ROYALE RIPPLEROYALE RIPPLE 03030707 ROYALE RIPPLEROYALE RIPPLE

THE ENGINE BEHIND THE RIPPLE THE ENGINE BEHIND THE RIPPLE ROTARY CODE OF CONDUCTROTARY CODE OF CONDUCT The Rotary Code of Conduct (formerly known as the Declaration of Rotarians in Businesses and Professions) provides a framework for ethical behavior that all Rotarians can use, together with The Four-Way Test, in their business and professional activities. As a Rotarian, I will 1. Exemplify the core value of integrity in all behaviors and activities; 2. Use my vocational experience and talents to serve in Rotary; 3. Conduct all of my personal, business, and professional affairs ethically, while encouraging and fostering high ethical standards as an example to others; 4. Be fair in all dealings with others and treat them with the respect due to them as fellow human beings; 5. Promote recognition and respect for all occupations which are useful to society; 6. Offer my vocational talents: to provide opportunities for young people, to work for the relief of the special needs of others, and to improve the quality of life in my community; 7. Honor the trust that Rotary and fellow Rotarians provide and not do anything that will bring disfavor or reflect adversely on Rotary or fellow Rotarians; and 8. Not seek from a fellow Rotarian a privilege or advantage not normally accorded others in a business or professional relationship. 1111 ROYALE RIPPLEROYALE RIPPLE

ECHOES OF LEADERESHIPECHOES OF LEADERESHIP Rotary International President’s Message Rotary International President’s Message J U L Y , 2 0 2 6 Rotary has a way of surprising you. It surprises you when a stranger across the table becomes a lifelong friend. It surprises you when a small project in one neighborhood ripples outward in ways you never imagined. And it may surprise you when you realize that the person Rotary has changed most … is you. That is why this year, we are called to harness the change within ourselves, to look to the future, and to Create Lasting Impact. Now, I want to be clear about what those words mean. Change is only the beginning. Impact is what endures. We must think of the long-term impact of every project. How can a new water system contribute to the long-term health of a community? Can residents help other communities build their own? How can a new classroom be part of a wider strategy to improve education in the area? That is the sort of thinking we need. As we prioritize impact, we must also consider how our actions can contribute to peacebuilding. Peace does not happen by accident. It must be built deliberately and strategically. As you plan your next project, ask yourself: “How does this create the conditions for peace?” Consult the Pillars of Positive Peace to learn how we can bring the world one step closer to peace in everything we do. 1515 ROYALE RIPPLEROYALE RIPPLE
ECHOES OF LEADERESHIPECHOES OF LEADERESHIP Rotary International President’s Message Rotary International President’s Message J U L Y , 2 0 2 6 The more you change your community and the world, the more you will change. Don’t just tell people about the projects you have run or the funds you have raised. Tell them how Rotary has shaped who you are. Those personal stories open doors, inspire new members, and remind all of us why we are here. Storytelling is also an excellent way to recruit new members and raise funds. We need more people standing with us and more resources if we are to end polio, spread peace, and have a lasting impact on the world. We have set a goal of increasing membership to 1.25 million Rotarians and more than 125,000 Rotaractors by 2030, just in time for Rotary’s 125th anniversary. 1616 ROYALE RIPPLEROYALE RIPPLEOlayinka Hakeem BabalolaOlayinka Hakeem Babalola Rotary International President RY 2026 - 2027 Sit down with your club and look back over your accomplishments in the last few years. Find your best year. Maybe it was a record year for new members. Maybe you reached a fundraising milestone. Maybe you completed a project that the whole community is still talking about. Once you find that year, I challenge you to do better than your best. In these ways and more, we will Create Lasting Impact across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves. Thank you, my dear friends. Now let’s get to work.
ECHOES OF LEADERESHIPECHOES OF LEADERESHIP Message from the Club President Message from the Club President J U L Y , 2 0 2 6 Dear Fellow Rotarians, As we begin a new Rotary Year, my heart is filled with gratitude, excitement, and hope. The District Handover and Induction Ceremony was more than a change in leadership—it was a reminder that every Rotary year builds upon the dedication of those who came before us. As we transition from "Unite for Good" to this year's theme, "Create Lasting Impact," I am inspired by the opportunity to continue our club's tradition of meaningful service and genuine fellowship. I would like to express my deepest appreciation to our Charter President, Raul Fecundo, for your unwavering guidance, encouragement, and for leading by example. The gathering brought members together in fellowship, learning, and a renewed commitment to Rotary's ideals and mission. One of the highlights of the meeting was the inspiring presentation by PP Arnie, entitled "Living Rotary Through APPLES." Through the acronym APPLES, members were reminded of the essential qualities of an engaged Rotarian: Attendance, Participation, Payment of Dues, Leadership, Enjoyment, and Sharing Rotary while Supporting The Rotary Foundation. The session served as a meaningful refresher on the values and responsibilities of Rotary membership, encouraging every Rotarian to actively participate, lead with purpose, and strengthen the club through fellowship and service. As the club begins another Rotary year, members look forward to embracing new opportunities to serve, foster stronger connections, and create lasting impact in the community through Service Above Self. 3838 ROYALE RIPPLEROYALE RIPPLE

We expand access to quality care, so mothers and children everywhere can have the same opportunities for a healthy future. In 2020, an estimated 5 million children under the age of 5 years died, mostly from preventable and treatable causes. Approximately half of those deaths, 2.4 million, occurred among newborns (in the first 28 days of life). The leading causes of death in children under 5 years can all be prevented or treated with access to affordable interventions in health and sanitation.OUR IMPACT ON THE LIVES OF MOTHERS AND CHILDREN The Rotary Foundation reaches mothers and children in need by giving communities the help and training they need to take control of their own maternal and infant health care.
