This is a student workbook for an undergraduate Visual Communication photography practical subject (VC24/1C/PHY). It documents creative exercises completed by student T Thenmozhi using a Nikon D90 camera. The workbook is intended for academic assessment and demonstrates practical application of photography techniques.

The first exercise is a Composition Hunt with five photographs exploring the rule of thirds, symmetry, natural framing, leading lines, and negative space or golden ratio. Each image is presented with its lens, aperture, shutter speed, and ISO settings.

The second exercise is a Shutter Speed Challenge called Freeze It or Flow It. It includes four photographs of moving water and city traffic: a freeze frame at 1/1000s, two motion blur shots at 1/4s and 1/6s, and a panning shot at 1/30s. The workbook explains how different shutter speeds capture either frozen moments or flowing movement.

The table of contents lists ten exercises in total, covering depth of field, perspective, lens use, lighting, flower photography, a five-genre sprint, colour photography, photographing the impossible, and a human versus AI comparison. The workbook also includes a section on photography and post-production.
