Mc Quaid & Murphy Families Where You’ll Stay 8 bedrooms / sleeps 16-18 people Villa Palagio part of the Tenuta di Rota Estate dominates the valley, and has been the beating heart of the estate for over 600 years. There are 8 double bedrooms with en-suite, air conditioned rooms. We also have a full working kitchen, two large fridges, access to a private pool on-site alongside a sauna indoors and a secret pool room. What it will Cost The accommodation will cost €333 per person. This will cover the 3-night stay at Villa Palagio. The Events We are hosting all of our guests for two catered events during the wedding celebrations, the wedding day and the day two party which is noted on your invitation. As the property is self-catering, we will be sharing a grocery list a couple of weeks ahead of the trip to plan for all of our other family meals together. We will arrange for groceries to be at the villa for our time spent there so we can all fully switch off and enjoy our time on the Estate after we arrive. Outside of the main events we will have: Three breakfasts Two lunches One dinner What dates will we be there? We can check in from 4:00pm on Saturday 5 , June 2027 and we will check out before 10am on Tuesday 8 , June. th th We are subsidising the total cost of the stay which is reflected in the above. You can send this amount to Taylor-Marie or Brendan whenever you like before 1st March 2027.
Mc Quaid & Murphy Families Flights? We will travel out to Florence a couple of days before the celebrations. We hope to leave on Thursday, 3 June giving us two-nights in Florence ahead of travelling out to Tenuta di Rota. More details around flights from and to what cities are on the wedding website. rd After the wedding celebrations, we will head off on a little trip just us two. Travelling within Italy We would recommend getting a car to travel around. When we went in April, we rented a car for 6-days and it came to €250 for two named drivers. Try to fill your car with four people at least for the most cost efficient travel. Also avoid anything too large as the streets in Florence can be quite narrow when you get closer to the city.
