This document is a design fee proposal from Hague Dental Supplies, addressed to dental professionals considering a new practice, refurbishment or reconfiguration. It explains the scope of services and the design process, from initial spatial planning through to procurement and handover. The proposal is intended to help readers understand the support available and choose the level of service that fits their project.
The design process is divided into five phases. Phase 1 covers 2D spatial planning, including room requirements, clinical workflows, patient journeys and equipment positioning. Phase 2 develops the interior concept with moodboards and 3D visualisations. Phase 3 is design specification, using a client and trade portal for room-by-room selections. Phase 4 produces technical drawings for contractors. Phase 5 manages procurement, delivery, installation and handover.
Additional considerations are listed separately: shopfront design, practice branding, planning and statutory approvals, and specialist services such as architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical or CDM support. These are identified as potential requirements that should be scoped early.
Standalone interior services are offered for specific stages. These include 2D spatial planning, a design sprint for a focused concept, and a procurement service for finishings and furniture. Each standalone service is costed based on project size and can be commissioned individually.
Three interior design packages are presented with increasing levels of support. The Essential package includes concept design and specification. The Comprehensive package adds a technical contractor pack. The Turnkey package covers procurement, installation and handover. A comparison table shows what each package includes, with proposed fees of £5,400, £7,400 and £9,400.
Add-on design services are available for shopfront design, practice branding and specialist services. Each is assessed and quoted separately. The document concludes with an estimated project timeline and next steps, including a contact mobile number for the design director.
