START WITH THE SITUATION AROUND YOUAt a café: Masarap ba dito? Is the food good here? At a restaurant: Ano po ang masarap dito? What's good here? At a market: Ano po ang magandang bilhin dito? What's good to buy here? At a tourist attraction: Maganda po dito, no? It's beautiful here, right? At the beach: Ang ganda ng beach, no? The beach is beautiful, right?
VERY USEFUL WORD: "NO?"In Filipino casual conversation, you may hear: "Diba?" or "...no?" It's similar to: "Right?" Example: Ang init ngayon, no? It's hot today, right? Masarap ito, no? This is delicious, right? This is a very natural way to make a simple comment and invite the other person to respond.
