| P a g e A simple story: how the pattern can affect everyone Imagine there is a little girl called Anna. A group of people starts being unkind to Anna. They keep bothering her, saying mean things about her, and making other people think bad things about her. But they don't simply say: “We don't like Anna.” Instead, they tell a story. Step 1 — They make Anna the “bad person” They tell people: “Anna is dangerous.” “Anna is mean.” “Anna wants to take things from people.” “Anna cannot be trusted.” The people hearing this might believe it because they trust the people telling the story. Step 2 — They say they are the “good people” The group says: “We are only trying to protect everyone from Anna.” Now the story has been turned upside down. The people bothering Anna say they are the helpers. Anna is made to look like the problem. Step 3 — They tell more people They tell Anna's friends, neighbours and other people: “Be careful around Anna.” Now more people start looking at Anna differently. This is what we called the social perimeter. It is like putting an invisible fence around Anna. The fence isn't made of wood. It is made from stories and rumours.
| P a g e Step 4 — People start believing the story Some people think: “If everyone is saying it, it must be true.” They may never have seen Anna do anything bad themselves. They are believing what they have been told. Some may even think they are helping. Step 5 — Anna notices people changing People who used to talk to Anna may stop talking to her. Some people may look at her differently. Some may avoid her. Anna becomes frightened, upset or angry. That is a normal thing that can happen when someone feels unsafe. Step 6 — The group uses Anna's feelings against her Now the group says: “Look! We told you she was bad.” But they leave out the important part: Anna became upset because of what was happening to her. Her fear and anger are turned into another story about why she is supposedly the problem. This can make the story into a closed moral universe. That means: Whatever Anna does, the group says it proves they were right. If Anna cries: “She's unstable.” If Anna gets angry: “She's dangerous.”
| P a g e If Anna walks away: “She's hiding something.” If Anna asks for help: “She's causing trouble.” There seems to be no answer Anna can give that they will accept. Step 7 — The audience can become caught in the story too This is important. The people listening to the story may also become victims of the manipulation. They may think: “We are protecting ourselves.” But they may actually have been given a story that someone else wants them to believe. They can become like people walking through a maze. The group keeps pointing them in one direction: “Anna is the problem. Don't look anywhere else.” Step 8 — People who witness the abuse can become hurt too Now imagine someone watches this happen for two years. They see Anna being frightened. They hear the arguments. They see people bothering her. They see her becoming more and more upset. Even though the abuse isn't happening to them, seeing it again and again can hurt them too. Their brain may start thinking: “The world isn't safe.” They may become worried all the time. They may have bad dreams. They may keep thinking about what they saw.
| P a g e They may become very alert to danger. They may feel guilty because they couldn't stop it. This can be called trauma from witnessing. If it becomes severe and persistent, a professional might assess for PTSD or complex PTSD. Step 9 — The group story keeps going The story can then repeat itself: They bother Anna. ↓ Anna becomes frightened or angry. ↓ They say her reaction proves she is bad. ↓ Other people believe them. ↓ Anna becomes more isolated. ↓ People see her distress. ↓ The group says, “See, we were right.” And the circle starts again.
| P a g e Step 10 — What the group may want We cannot know their private thoughts without evidence. But if this behaviour is deliberate, the possible goal could be to make Anna: alone, frightened, disbelieved and unable to get help. And the audience may be used to help make that happen. The audience might not realise they are being used. They may honestly believe: “We're helping.” That is why it is important to ask: “What did I actually see with my own eyes?” “What did somebody tell me?” “Who started the story?” “What proof do we have?” “Could there be another explanation?” The simplest way to understand the whole thing Think of it like this: The group tells people a story about Anna. People believe the story. People treat Anna differently. Anna becomes upset. The group points to her upset and says, “See, Anna really is bad.” That is the dangerous part of a closed moral universe. And the social perimeter is the invisible fence built around Anna by getting other people to believe the story. The people inside that fence may themselves have been misled, pressured or traumatised by what they witnessed, while at the same time becoming unwitting participants in what happens to Anna.
| P a g e Imagine a little boy called Leo. Leo sees some people being unkind to a woman. He doesn't understand why, so he listens to the people around him. They tell him: “Don't worry, Leo. We are the good people.” Then they say: “You must be careful of her. She is dangerous.” Leo doesn't know if this is true. But the people sound very sure. The first little wall One day they tell Leo: “We're telling you because we trust you.” Leo feels special. He thinks: “They trust me. I must be important.” A little wall has been built around him. The second little wall They tell Leo: “Don't listen to her. She tells lies.” Now Leo is afraid to listen to the woman. Another wall has been built.
| P a g e The third little wall They say: “We are protecting you.” Leo thinks: “They are looking after me.” He doesn't realise that the people may be teaching him what to think. Another wall goes up. The fourth little wall They ask Leo: “Did you see her today?” “What did she say?” “Who was she talking to?” Leo starts giving them little pieces of information. He thinks: “I'm helping.” But now Leo is becoming part of their story. Another wall goes up. The fifth little wall Leo sees the woman crying. He thinks: “She must be very frightened.” But the people tell him: “See? She's pretending.” Leo becomes confused. He doesn't know whether to believe his own eyes or the people talking to him. Another wall goes up.
| P a g e The sixth little wall Leo asks: “What if you are wrong?” The people say: “Why are you defending her?” Leo becomes worried. He thinks: “Maybe I'm doing something wrong.” Now Leo is afraid to ask questions. Another wall goes up. The seventh little wall Leo starts seeing frightening things happen again and again. He sees the woman being bothered. He sees her becoming scared. He hears people saying horrible things about her. This happens for a long time. Leo starts having bad dreams. He worries a lot. He finds it hard to relax. He thinks: “What will happen next?” Now the walls feel very high.
| P a g e The eighth little wall One day Leo thinks: “Maybe I don't believe this story anymore.” But then he remembers: “I've already believed them.” “I've already told people what they told me.” “What will everyone think if I say they were wrong?” Leo is afraid to leave. Another wall goes up. The invisible cage Nobody has put Leo in a real cage. Nobody has locked a door. But Leo feels trapped. The cage is made from: fear, trust, secrets, pressure, guilt, and the fear of being left out. Leo has become trapped inside someone else's story.
| P a g e Then Leo understands something Leo finally thinks: “Wait.” “I was told what to believe.” “I was told who was good.” “I was told who was bad.” “I was told what everything meant.” “And I was scared to ask questions.” Leo realises that he doesn't have to stay inside the story. He can step back. He can look at what he actually saw. He can ask: “What really happened?” “Who told me this?” “Do we have proof?” “Could the story be wrong?” And most importantly: “Am I being asked to help someone, or am I being used to hurt someone?” That is how Leo begins to find the door in the invisible cage.
| P a g e The important lesson Sometimes people don't trap others with locks. Sometimes they try to trap people with stories. A story can make someone afraid. A story can make someone feel special. A story can make someone feel guilty for asking questions. And a story can make someone believe they cannot leave. But Leo learns: You are allowed to ask questions. You are allowed to look at the evidence. You are allowed to change your mind when you learn something new. And you don't have to hurt someone just because somebody told you that they are bad.
| P a g e Little Leo Finds His Way Out Little Leo had been inside the invisible trap for a very long time. The trap had no bars. There was no locked door. It was made from stories, fear, secrets and pressure. For a long time, Leo thought the people who made the trap were helping him. Then one day, Leo noticed something. He felt tired. He felt worried. He didn't like seeing people being hurt. And he didn't like being told what to think. So Leo decided to take one small step. Step 1 — Leo stops Leo stopped and took a deep breath. He didn't argue. He didn't shout. He simply thought: “I need to stop and think.” That was his first step out of the trap. Step 2 — Leo looks with his own eyes Leo began asking: “What did I actually see?” He separated what he had seen from what people had told him. He discovered that some things he believed were not things he had ever seen himself. That made him think: “Maybe I don't know the whole story.”
| P a g e Step 3 — Leo asks questions Leo started asking gentle questions: “Who said that?” “How do we know?” “Is there proof?” “Could there be another explanation?” Some people didn't like his questions. But Leo learned something important: Asking a question is not being bad. Step 4 — Leo stops carrying other people's messages People sometimes asked Leo: “What did she say?” “Where was she?” “Who was she with?” Leo decided: “I don't want to carry messages between people anymore.” He stopped passing information around. The invisible trap became a little weaker. Step 5 — Leo chooses kindness Leo realised that he didn't have to decide who was good and who was bad. He could simply be kind. He thought: “If someone says they want to be left alone, I should respect that.” “If someone is frightened, I should not make them more frightened.” “If I don't know what happened, I shouldn't pretend that I do.” This made Leo feel calmer.
| P a g e Step 6 — Leo finds safe people Leo found people who did not tell him: “You must believe us.” Instead, they said: “You can think for yourself.” They listened to him. They didn't punish him for asking questions. They didn't make him choose sides. Leo began to understand what safe people felt like. Step 7 — Leo tells the truth about what he saw Leo was frightened at first. He thought: “What if people are angry with me?” But he remembered: “I don't have to make things bigger or smaller. I can simply tell the truth.” So Leo said: “This is what I saw.” “This is what I was told.” “I don't know about the things I didn't see.” That was very brave.
| P a g e Step 8 — Leo lets himself feel sad When Leo was finally away from the trap, he realised how much he had seen. He remembered the frightening things. Sometimes he cried. Sometimes he felt angry. Sometimes he felt guilty. He wondered: “Why didn't I understand sooner?” A kind person told Leo: “You didn't know what you didn't know.” Leo learned that being confused by a confusing situation did not make him a bad person. Step 9 — Leo learns that healing takes time Leo didn't feel better in one day. Some nights he still had bad dreams. Sometimes a sound or a place reminded him of what he had seen. Sometimes he became worried again. But now Leo knew what to do. He could breathe slowly. He could talk to someone safe. He could take a break. He could remind himself: “I am safe right now.” Little by little, his body began to learn that it didn't have to be frightened all the time.
| P a g e Step 10 — Leo puts down the heavy bag For a long time, Leo had carried a very heavy bag. Inside it were: fear, guilt, secrets, worry, sadness, and things that were never his job to carry. One day Leo opened the bag. He looked inside. Then he said: “This belongs to them. It doesn't belong to me.” He put the bag down. It felt strange at first. Then it felt lighter. Step 11 — Leo learns he can change his mind Leo used to think: “If I believed something before, I have to believe it forever.” Now he knew better. He learned: “I am allowed to learn.” “I am allowed to say I was wrong.” “I am allowed to change my mind when I discover new facts.” That was another piece of freedom.
| P a g e Step 12 — Leo builds a new life Leo began doing ordinary things again. He played. He laughed. He slept better. He spent time with kind people. He went outside. He learned new things. He started trusting his own thoughts again. The memories did not disappear. But they became memories, instead of something happening to him every day. Step 13 — Leo helps without becoming trapped again One day Leo met another person who was confused and frightened. Leo wanted to help. But this time he knew the difference between helping and being pulled into somebody else's story. He said: “I will listen.” “I won't decide things I don't know.” “I won't spread stories about people.” “If someone is in danger, I will get safe help.” And Leo remembered: Helping someone does not mean giving away your own mind.
| P a g e The final lesson Leo looked back at the invisible trap. He realised something important. The trap had seemed enormous when he was inside it. But he had escaped it one small step at a time. He stopped. He questioned. He checked. He told the truth. He found safe people. He stopped carrying other people's messages. He allowed himself to heal. He forgave himself for things he did not understand at the time. And eventually Leo could say: “I saw something terrible, but it does not have to control the rest of my life.” The invisible cage was gone. And Leo was free to be Leo again.
| P a g e Little Leo's Permission Words Little Leo can say these words slowly, one at a time. He does not have to believe every word straight away. He can simply let the words be there. To leave I give myself permission to step away. I am allowed to leave things that frighten me. I do not have to stay inside someone else's story. I am allowed to walk away. I do not need anyone's permission to protect my peace. To stop listening to the trap I do not have to believe everything I am told. I am allowed to ask questions. I am allowed to say, “I don't know.” I am allowed to change my mind. I can listen to my own eyes and my own heart. Someone else's story does not have to become my story. To stop carrying other people's problems Their problems are not mine to carry. Their anger is not mine to carry. Their secrets are not mine to carry. I do not have to carry messages between people. I do not have to fix what I did not break. I can put the heavy bag down.
| P a g e To let go of guilt I did the best I could with what I knew. Not knowing everything does not make me bad. Being confused does not make me bad. I am allowed to learn something new. I am allowed to say, “I was wrong about that.” I can forgive myself for things I did not understand. To choose safety I am allowed to choose safe people. I am allowed to leave unsafe situations. I can ask for help. I don't have to prove that I am brave by staying somewhere frightening. Walking away can be brave. Being quiet can be brave. Asking for help can be brave. To remember who he is I am more than what I have seen. I am more than what happened around me. I am not responsible for other people's choices. I am still me. I deserve kindness. I deserve peace. I deserve to feel safe.
| P a g e When fear comes back That was then. This is now. I am here. I can breathe. I can look around and see where I am. I can find a safe person. I do not have to solve everything today. One small step is enough. And finally Little Leo can put his hand on his heart and say: “I give myself permission to walk away.” “I give myself permission to stop carrying what is not mine.” “I give myself permission to think for myself.” “I give myself permission to heal.” “I am allowed to have my own life.” “I am allowed to be free.” “I can take one small step today.”
| P a g e The Invisible Cage Verse 1 Little Leo heard a story, Told to him each day, “Trust us, Leo, we will guide you, Don't you look away.” They built a cage with words and whispers, Walls he couldn't see, Made of fear and “you must trust us,” Made of “stay with me.” Pre-Chorus But something small inside him whispered, “Leo, look and see…” “What they tell you isn't always What the truth can be.” Chorus So Leo opened up the door, Though there was no door before, One little step, then one step more, And Leo wasn't trapped anymore. He left the fear, he left the lies, He lifted up his tired eyes, The cage was never made of steel— It was made of stories he could feel. Verse 2 He stopped carrying their messages, Stopped repeating what they'd said, Stopped believing every whisper Running through his head. He learned that asking questions Didn't make him bad, And changing what he thought was wrong Didn't mean he should feel sad.
| P a g e Pre-Chorus He found some people who would listen, People who would say, “You can think and choose for yourself, You can walk away.” Chorus So Leo opened up the door, Though there was no door before, One little step, then one step more, And Leo wasn't trapped anymore. He left the fear, he left the lies, He lifted up his tired eyes, The cage was never made of steel— It was made of stories he could feel. Bridge He saw the things he'd carried, Fear and guilt and pain, He put them on the ground and said, “I don't need these again.” He couldn't change the days before, Or take away what he had seen, But he could choose what happened next, And choose who he would be. Quietly “I'm allowed to leave.” “I'm allowed to breathe.” “I'm allowed to change my mind.” “I'm allowed to heal.” “I'm allowed to feel.” “I'm allowed to leave it all behind.”
| P a g e Final Chorus So Leo walked beneath the sunlight, Slowly finding his way, He didn't have to fight the darkness, He just walked away. One small step and one more step, Until his heart could see: The cage was never where he stood— The cage was what they told him he must be. Outro And Leo looked behind him, At the walls that weren't really there, Then whispered softly to himself: “I am safe. I am free. I can be Little Leo, just me.”
| P a g e Leo Saw It, Leo Will Heal Verse 1 Little Leo stood and watched, Things no child should see, Someone hurting, someone frightened, Wishing they were free. Day by day and year by year, Leo carried what he knew, All the fear and all the sadness, All the things he witnessed too. Pre-Chorus And sometimes Leo wondered, “Why can't I make it stop?” His little heart was tired, His tears just wouldn't stop. Chorus But Leo saw it, And Leo knows, What happened there Was not his fault. He can breathe now, He can grow, He can take it slow. The things he witnessed Don't have to follow where he goes. Leo saw it, Leo will heal. Verse 2 He remembers frightened faces, Voices, doors and nights, Moments when he wanted To make everything alright. Sometimes memories come knocking, When the room is dark and still, But Leo puts his hand upon his heart
| P a g e And tells himself: “I'm here. I'm safe. I'm here right now. I don't have to fix it now.” Chorus Yes, Leo saw it, And Leo knows, What happened there Was not his fault. He can breathe now, He can grow, He can take it slow. The things he witnessed Don't have to follow where he goes. Leo saw it, Leo will heal. Verse 3 He finds someone kind to talk to, Someone who will hear, Someone who won't tell him That he shouldn't feel his fear. He learns that tears are okay, And being tired too, He learns that asking for some help Is something brave people do. Bridge He doesn't have to forget, He doesn't have to pretend. Healing doesn't mean The memories have to end. It means the scary story Doesn't own his every day. The past can be behind him While he finds another way.
| P a g e Softly One breath... One day... One step... One friend... One little moment Where the fear can finally end. Final Chorus Leo saw it, But Leo lives. He has a heart That still can give. He can laugh now, He can dream, He can find out what safe can mean. And when the memories come back, He can gently say: “That happened then. I'm here today. I'm safe now. I can walk away.” Outro Little Leo closes his eyes, And lets the morning in. He cannot change the past, But he can choose where he begins. He takes one breath. Then another. And whispers: “I saw terrible things. But they are not who I am. I am here. I am safe. I am healing. And I am free.”
| P a g e Leo Learns to Trust Again Verse 1 Little Leo walked for a long time, With his eyes upon the ground, He had seen too many shadows, He had heard too many sounds. He wondered if the whole world Was as frightening as before, If every hand that reached for him Would hurt him even more. Pre-Chorus But then someone sat beside him, And didn't ask him to believe. They simply stayed there quietly And gave him room to breathe. Chorus So Leo learned that some hearts are kind, Some people will stay by your side. Not every hand will hurt you, Not every door will hide. There are gentle voices, There are people who care, There are arms that won't hold him down, Just hands that will be there. And little by little, His frightened heart could see: There is kindness in this world, And there can still be trust in me. Verse 2 He met a person who listened, And another who was true, Someone who said, “You can say no,” And meant exactly what they knew. They never asked him for a secret, Never told him what to think, They gave him space to find his way, And time to stop and blink. Pre-Chorus Leo learned that trust is something
| P a g e That can grow a little slow. It doesn't have to happen all at once; It only needs room to grow. Verse 3 He watched the sun come through the window, Saw children laughing in the park, Saw a stranger help another When they couldn't find the dark. He saw people make mistakes And then say, “I'm sorry too.” He learned that being human Means there's good and bad in you. Bridge He didn't need to trust everybody, He didn't need to close his eyes. He could listen to his feelings And still believe in life. He could have a little wisdom, He could keep his heart awake, And learn that healthy trust is something People slowly earn and make. Final Chorus Now Leo looks up at the world, And he doesn't need to know That every road is perfect Or where every person goes. He knows there will be shadows,
| P a g e But there will also be light, There will be people who are gentle, Who will help him make things right. And little by little, His heart begins to say: “The world can still be beautiful. I can trust again someday.” Outro Leo takes another step, Then another down the road. He doesn't walk without his scars, But he doesn't walk alone. He looks at all the people And lets one small hope begin: “Maybe the world is not just danger. Maybe people can be kind. Maybe after everything I've seen, There is still goodness I can find.” And with a quiet smile, Leo walks beneath the sky— with faith in people, hope in tomorrow, and trust growing inside.
| P a g e Not Everyone Is the Same Verse 1 Little Leo saw some darkness, And he thought the world was dark, He thought every person carried Something hidden in their heart. When you've seen some people hurting, It's so easy to believe: “If some people can be cruel, Then everyone must be.” Pre-Chorus But Leo took a breath and said, “Wait, that isn't always true. One person's choices belong to them, Not to everybody too.” Chorus Not everyone is the same, Not every heart will hurt. Some people bring you kindness, Some people make things worse. Life can have some darkness, Life can have some light. The world is not all terrible, And the world is not all right. All people are not perfect, And all people are not bad. There are people who are gentle, There are people who are sad. There are people who make mistakes, Then try to make things right. So Leo keeps his heart awake And keeps a little light. Verse 2 Leo learned about a garden With a hundred different trees. Some were bent by heavy weather, Some danced gently in the breeze. He wouldn't look at one dark tree And say, “They're all this way.”
| P a g e He learned that every person Makes their own choice each day. Pre-Chorus So Leo doesn't say: “Everyone is good.” And he doesn't say: “Everyone is bad.” He says: “I'll look at what they do, And understand the person that I have.” Chorus Not everyone is the same, Not every heart will hurt. Some people bring you kindness, Some people make things worse. Life can have some darkness, Life can have some light. The world is not all terrible, And the world is not all right. Bridge If one person breaks your trust, It doesn't mean the next will too. If someone treats you badly, That doesn't make everyone cruel. And if someone is kind to you, You don't have to trust them all. You can take your time and watch How people act and how they care. Verse 3 Leo learned that hope is not Pretending nothing's wrong. Hope means knowing difficult things And still believing you belong. He can remember what happened Without making it the rule. He can say:
| P a g e “That was one person's choice. It doesn't describe the whole world.” Final Chorus Not everyone is the same, And Leo knows this now. Some people will be gentle, Some will hurt you somehow. Life can bring you sorrow, Life can bring you joy. There's darkness and there's sunlight, And both can touch your world. All people aren't angels, All people aren't bad. Some will make you happy, Some will make you sad. So Leo keeps his wisdom, But he doesn't close his heart. He says: “I'll judge each person by their actions. I'll take life as it comes. I won't let what some people did Decide what everyone becomes.” Outro And Leo walks into tomorrow, Not pretending life is fair, But knowing there are good hearts And kind people everywhere. He doesn't need to say: “Life is bad.” He doesn't need to say: “Everyone is good.” He simply says: “People are different. Life is complicated. And there is still goodness worth looking for.”
| P a g e Leo Learned From Her Strength Verse 1 Little Leo watched a woman Standing steady in the rain, While a noisy group around her Tried to fill her world with blame. They could whisper, they could shout, They could tell their stories too, But she knew the truth inside her, And she knew what she must do. Pre-Chorus She didn't need to win their argument, She didn't need their praise. She kept her feet upon the ground And carried on her way. Chorus She said, “I know who I am, And I know what I believe. You can say whatever you want, But you don't control me.” She kept working, kept on walking, Kept her purpose in her sight. While the noise went on around her, She kept choosing what was right. And Leo watched her standing there, Steady, brave and strong, And thought: “Maybe strength is not the loudest voice. Maybe strength is carrying on.” Verse 2 They could make up stories about her, They could tell the world their view, They could try to make her smaller, But she knew what she had to do. She didn't chase their approval, She didn't beg them to agree, She simply kept on doing What mattered most to her.
| P a g e Pre-Chorus She spoke her truth when she needed, Then she went back to her work. She didn't let their angry voices Make her forget what she was worth. Maybe strength is carrying on.” Bridge Leo learned that courage Doesn't always look like fighting. Sometimes courage looks like waking up And simply continuing. Sometimes strength is saying: “I know my truth.” Then turning back to what you love. Sometimes strength is saying: “You don't get to decide who I am.” And walking forward anyway. Verse 3 Leo saw she had her hard days, She was human, after all. But she didn't let the group's behaviour Become the measure of her soul. She kept learning, kept creating,
| P a g e Kept putting one foot down, And slowly Leo understood What real strength can sound like. Not a scream. Not a fight. Just: “I'm still here.” Final Chorus She said, “I know who I am, And I know the path I choose. I can't control what others say, But I can choose what I will do.” She kept working, kept on walking, Kept her purpose burning bright. She didn't need the group's permission To keep living her own life. And Leo watched her standing there, And something changed inside: “I can be like that too. I can keep my heart alive. I can speak my truth with kindness. I can work and carry on. I don't have to become the noise Just because the noise is strong.” Outro So Leo took his little notebook, And began to write his dreams. The group could keep on talking. Leo didn't need to listen. He remembered what she showed him: “You don't have to control the noise. You only have to choose your way.” And Leo kept walking. And kept working. And kept becoming himself.
| P a g e Leo's Two Roads Verse 1 After all that Leo witnessed, After all the things he'd seen, He stood beneath the morning sky And wondered what they mean. His heart was full of anger, His mind was full of fear, And two roads stretched before him As he stood and looked ahead. Road One One road said: “Come with me. Stay angry, stay afraid. Everyone is dangerous. Nothing good is made.” It promised Leo an answer That was simple, dark and clear: “Life is bad. People hurt you. There is nothing good here.” Leo could walk that road And carry all his pain, Turning every new person Into someone just the same. Road Two The other road was quieter. It didn't promise easy days. It said: “Come with me. Let's understand the pain. Let's learn and grow together. Let's find a better way.” It said: “You can remember what happened Without letting it decide
| P a g e What you think about the whole world Or what you keep inside.” Chorus Two roads, Two choices, Leo gets to choose. One says, “Close your heart.” One says, “Heal and grow.” One says, “Everyone is bad.” One says, “People are people.” Some will hurt you, Some will help you, Some will come and some will go. But Leo doesn't have to make One person's actions The rule for everyone he knows. Verse 2 Leo thought about the woman Who had stood so strong and tall. She didn't let the group's behaviour Become the truth about them all. She kept working. She kept growing. She kept speaking what she knew. She didn't let their darkness Become the darkness inside her too. Leo thought: “If I let their actions Decide what the whole world is, Then even after they are gone, Their voices still are living here.” Chorus Two roads, Two choices, Leo gets to choose.
| P a g e He can lose himself in anger, Or he can learn and heal. He can say, “Life is terrible,” Or say, “Life can hurt, but life can heal.” Some people may be cruel. Some people may be kind. And Leo can meet each person With an open but wise mind. Bridge He doesn't have to trust everyone. He doesn't have to fear everyone. He can watch what people do. He can take his time. He can set boundaries. He can walk away. He can ask for help. He can keep his heart safe Without locking it away. And if the sadness comes, He can say: “I feel this pain, But I am not this pain.” If the anger comes: “I can feel angry Without becoming anger.” If the fear comes: “I can be careful Without believing the whole world is dangerous.” Final Chorus Two roads, Two choices, And Leo takes a breath.
| P a g e He chooses not to let the past Become his life ahead. He chooses to work on himself. He chooses to understand. He chooses to keep on growing And to make his own new plans. He won't pretend the world is perfect. He won't pretend that people are. He'll simply keep discovering Who they really are. Outro Leo looks down the road And remembers what he knows: “Life can hurt me. Life can heal me. People can be kind or cruel. I don't have to turn one story Into every story that I know.” Then Leo takes one small step. Then another. And another. Not because the world is perfect— but because his life is still his to build.
| P a g e Leo Saw Her Strength Verse 1 They looked at her and whispered, “She won't make it through.” They thought the weight would break her, They thought she'd give in too. They mistook her quiet courage For a heart that couldn't fight, But Leo saw something different Every single night. Pre-Chorus While they were busy talking, While they were counting her out, She kept putting one foot forward, She never let them drown her out. Chorus They underestimated her, But Leo knew all along. They saw someone they could weaken, Leo saw someone strong. They thought she'd disappear, They thought she'd lose her way, But she kept standing, kept working, Kept choosing another day. And Leo watched her rise again, Again and again and again. They underestimated her— But Leo saw the strength within. Verse 2 They thought their words would break her, Thought rumours would make her small, Thought if they surrounded her She'd finally lose it all. But she didn't need to answer Every whisper in the room. She kept building up her future While they were talking doom.
| P a g e Pre-Chorus She knew what she had witnessed, She knew the truth she carried. And even when the road was hard, She kept the things that mattered. Verse 3 Some thought she would surrender, Some thought she'd finally break, Some thought the pressure would be more Than any heart could take. But strength doesn't always thunder, Sometimes strength is quiet work— Getting up and carrying on When everyone says you should quit. Bridge Leo learned a lesson watching her: “Strength isn't never hurting. Strength isn't never crying. Strength can be continuing When everything says stop.” She didn't have to become them. She didn't have to shout. She simply kept becoming herself While they kept counting her out.
| P a g e Final Chorus They underestimated her, But Leo knew all along. They saw someone they could silence, Leo saw someone strong. They thought the story they were telling Would become the truth someday, But she kept speaking her own truth And kept walking her own way. And Leo watched her rise again, Again and again and again. The people who had counted her out Never understood her strength. Outro Years from now, Leo may remember: “I saw her when they doubted her. I saw her when they were wrong. I saw her keep on working. I saw her carry on.” And whenever Leo feels like giving up, He remembers what she taught: “They can underestimate you. They can misunderstand. But they cannot decide your strength Unless you give them that command.” Leo saw her strength. Leo never forgot.
| P a g e 🌙 Leo's Little Lullaby Verse 1 Little Leo watched her stand, With her feet upon the ground, Though the world was sometimes noisy, She stayed calm and looked around. She kept working, kept on trying, She kept shining like a star, Leo thought, “She's very strong, And she's stronger than they thought.” Chorus 🎵 Sleep now, Leo, close your eyes, Let the moonlight fill the skies. People can be brave and strong, Even when the road feels long. Rest your heart and breathe in slow, Tomorrow gives you room to grow. You saw her courage shining bright, Now let your heart rest tonight. 🎵 Verse 2 Leo thought, “She's built so strong,” Like a tree that will not fall. She could bend when storms came by, But she still stood proud and tall. She didn't have to shout or fight, She just knew what she believed. And when the noisy voices came, She stayed true to what she dreamed. Chorus 🎵 Sleep now, Leo, close your eyes, Let the moonlight fill the skies. People can be brave and wise. Some are gentle, some surprise. You don't have to fear them all, You can choose who you trust and call. Rest your heart and breathe in slow, Tomorrow gives you room to grow. 🎵
| P a g e Little Bridge Leo learned that every person Has a story of their own. Some are strong and some are gentle, Some need help when they're alone. So he won't say, “Everyone's the same.” He'll look at what they do. He'll keep his heart both kind and wise, And let his trust grow slowly too. Final Chorus 🎵 Sleep now, Leo, dreams are near, You don't have to hold your fear. What you witnessed isn't you, There is kindness you can choose. Somewhere underneath the stars, Good hearts shine just where they are. Close your eyes and rest tonight, Tomorrow brings another light. 🎵 Goodnight, Leo 🌙 “You saw her strength. You learned from her courage. Now you can rest. The world is bigger than the bad things you have seen. There is still kindness. There is still hope. And you are allowed to grow.”
| P a g e 🌙 Lullaby of the Desert Star Verse 1 Sleep, little Leo, close your eyes, Moonlight rests on desert skies, Golden dunes beneath the moon, Palm trees swaying to the tune. Far away, the stars shine bright, Over quiet streets tonight, And Leo dreams of one brave heart, Shining like a morning star. Chorus 🌙 Ya habibi, sleep so sweet, Let the moon shine at your feet. Underneath the silver sky, Let your little worries fly. Like the desert flower grows, Strength can bloom where no one knows. Sleep, dear Leo, don't be afraid, Remember the brave woman you saw today. Verse 2 She walked beneath the evening sky, With warm desert winds passing by, Her scarf moved softly in the breeze, While moonlight danced among the trees. She heard the voices, loud and near, But she kept walking without fear, Her heart was steady, strong and bright, Like a lantern through the night. Chorus 🌙 Ya habibi, sleep so sweet, Let the quiet night bring peace. From the olive trees to distant sand, She kept her courage in her hands. She knew her truth, she knew her way, And kept on working every day. Sleep, dear Leo, dreams are near, Her courage is a light you carry here.
| P a g e Verse 3 In an old courtyard, soft and warm, She watched the stars after the storm, A little fountain sang below, While silver moonbeams came and went slow. The scent of jasmine filled the air, A gentle breeze moved through her hair, And Leo learned beside the light: “Being strong can still be gentle. Being brave can still be kind.” Bridge Ya layl, ya layl, Quiet is the night, Let the stars above you Keep their gentle light. Leo doesn't have to be afraid, He doesn't have to carry blame, He can remember what he saw And still believe in love again. Final Chorus 🌙 Ya habibi, close your eyes, Dream beneath the desert skies. Golden moon and jasmine bloom, Peace is waiting in your room. She stood strong, and Leo saw, Strength and courage without war. Now let sleepy dreams begin, Let the quiet healing in. Goodnight, Leo 🌙 “Remember her courage. Remember her strength. You don't have to carry her story. You can carry the lesson instead: Be brave. Be kind. Keep going. And let your heart stay open.”
