This is the interior design portfolio of Judith Walther, a recent graduate from the Design Institute of San Diego. It presents four projects developed during her studies and professional experience, covering healthcare, hospitality, and residential design.
The first project is Montlake Rehabilitation Center in Seattle, a 16,706 sq. ft. institutional healthcare facility. The design focuses on creating a restorative environment with natural materials, daylight, and biophilic elements. It includes a central courtyard, patient rooms, nurse stations, and therapy spaces.
The second project is Alma del Bosque, a commercial hospitality retreat in Santa Teresa, Costa Rica. The 12,412 sq. ft. design uses regional materials like wood, stone, tile, and woven fibers. It features public areas, guest rooms, a lobby bar, restaurant, retail space, and spa.
The portfolio also includes Woodland Park, an intergenerational housing project, and Masuda Residence, a residential mixed-use project. Each project is documented with floor plans, renderings, and design process notes.
