MICHEAL JACKSONFew artists in human history have managed to capture the global imagination quite like Michael Jackson. With a career spanning over four decades, he transformed the music video into an art form, popularized dance moves that seemed to defy gravity, and delivered Thriller, the best-selling album of all time. Beyond the flashy sequined gloves and the iconic moonwalk, Jackson’s true legacy lies in his genius as a storyteller, a perfectionist, and a global cultural phenomenon. Micheal Joseph Jackson (August 29, 1958 – June 25, 2009) was an American singer, songwriter, and philanthropist. Known as the king of pop has got a biography which shocks the whole world. Born in Gary, Indiana Micheal was eighth in ten children in a working-class family His father Joe Jackson, formed the Jackson 5 in 1964, with his older brother While continuing to record with his brothers, he also launched successful albums like “off the wall”. In 1982 he launched “Thriller” which remains one of the best-selling albums of all the time. The record produced seven top 10 albums which established him as dominant force on MTV, breaking racial barrier, and transforming music into the pop culture, he also released visual albums which received massive recognition and created a huge fan base for him, throughout 1980 – 1990 he was in peak releasing superhit albums like Bad (1987) and Dangerous (1991). As his fame skyrocket his personal life drew intense media scrutiny, he was diagnosed by vitiligo, a skin condition which causes the loss of pigment. On June 25, 2009, Jackson died tragically due to a cardiac arrest at the age 50, caused by a deadly overdose of sedatives and anesthetic propofol. His personal physician Conrad Murray, was convicted of involuntary manslaughter on 2011, his death was a great loss to our society. My Trip To Kanyakumari Kanyakumari is renowned because it is the meeting point of three vast water bodies- The Indian Ocean ,The Arabian Sea ,The Bay Of Bengal .It is a popular tourist spot because of its oceanic beauty ,and stunning sunrises and sunsets .Kanyakumari is also rich in history ,culture ,and religion.I travelled to Kanyakumari with my family in a car .The journey took about two and a half hours .I enjoyed the scenery and cool breeze .We arrived there at noon and went straight to see the Vivekananda Rock Memorial .It was very crowded ,I was worried we wouldn’t get tickets but my ever so wonderful mother got us tickets .I was not in the least surprised because she got her way whenever she wanted .Half an hour of suffering in the sun later ,we got on the boat .It was so shaky I genuinely thought the boat was going to flip .we got to the little island where the Memorial was located and it was magnificent .Swami Vivekananda meditated there before beginning his mission to spread the idea of peace ,spirituality ,and service of humanity .Then we reached the Sripada Mandapam ,it is believed that this shrine marks the footprint of the Goddess Kanyakumari .It was peaceful and calm to just sit there with a blank mind .After that we reached our last destination ,we passed through the Glass Bridge to see the Thiruvalluvar Statue .It was breathtaking to look down at the sea below ,where waves crashed against the rocks .The statue stood tall and proud with its flawless carving .Finaly we watched the captivating sunset and returned home with our hearts full and minds at peace .It was an unforgettable and refreshing experience . AMAZING FACTS ABOUT AMAZON FORESTThe hamza river flows 4,000 meters underneath the Amazon River, moving slowly through porous rock. It takes 10 minutes for rain to reach the ground. The floor is in permanent darkness. Less than 1.% of the sun ray's can penetrate the thick upper branches leaving the forest floor in a eternal twilight. A new species is found every other day. The Amazon River is the largest river in the world by volume, holding approximately 20% of Earth's fresh river water. It is a pharmacy hidden in plain sight. Around 25% of all modern western medicines are derived from rainforest plants. The famous Amazon River Dolphins start their lives looking like ordinary ocean dolphins. It may seem to us that global warming is just a gradual increase in temperature, but scientists actually see it as a threat that makes existing global problems worse. One of the greatest sources of carbon dioxide, the harmful gas that traps heat around the earth, is mainly the smoke coming from vehicles and factories. To stop this gas from overheating the planet, we need to start using renewable resources like solar energy and electric power rather than coal and petroleum. As the planet is getting hotter, the icebergs in Antarctica are melting at a rate in which precipitation cannot replace them. This causes the sea level to rise around the world, which causes flooding along the coastal regions and causes small islands to gradually sink completely underwater. THE THREAT OF GLOBAL WARMING Due to this, people living in the coastal areas and islands are facing serious problems as their homes, beaches, and clean drinking water are ruined due to regular flooding. Due to this, people living in those regions are forced to move away from their homeland. Global warming also ruins our weather, creating droughts that dry up farm lands and stop food from growing, leading to food shortage. We can reduce global warming by planting more trees and switching to renewable energy.
