Payments can also be made: Online via BPOINT Through the QParents app (where you can also view invoices)Upper Coomera State College uses Qparents which allows parents to easily access and manage their child’s information, complete administrative tasks and stay connected with the school through the application. Qparents is a free and secure online application that provides parents with digital access to various student data and administrative functions, including: ·view upcoming events ·access and provide digital consent ·view timetables ·view and update attendance details (including future absences) ·view behaviour information ·view and pay invoices ·access payment history ·access report cards and assessment planners ·access enrolment history

All uniform items are to be purchased at the College uniform shop. Look-a-like items are not acceptable. All students (Prep to Year 12) are required to wear their formal uniform every Friday (Formal Uniform Friday), and for all formal occasions such as excursions, awards nights, College photos and other College or public functions. Socks are to be clearly visible, plain white socks (no sockets). Only jumpers and jackets with the official UCSC logo can be worn. UCSC uniforms are not to be altered in any fashion. This strictly includes cutting and shortening of hemlines; rolling up of sleeves; rolling down of skirt tops; long pants must be worn at full length and not rolled; re-embroidering, replicating or reproducing the College logo/badges (contravenes copyright laws). Visible undershirts are not permitted to be worn. The College understands and accepts that some religions have specific dress requirements. Students must not mix and match between the formal and sports uniforms. Students must wear an Upper Coomera State College hat whilst outside. Scarves, canvas shoes, shoes without laces, slip-ons or thongs, non-UCSC hats, bandanas, beanies, hooded jumpers or jackets, studded belts, visible tattoos, handbags or inappropriate sized bags are not permitted.

Creative Arts STEM Sports Academic Excellence four Curriculum & Academies @ UCSC English Mathematics Science Humanities – History (in one semester) Health and Physical Education (in one semester) COMPULSORY SUBJECTS ELECTIVE SUBJECTS The Arts – Visual Art, Drama, Music, Dance, Media Technologies – Digital Technologies, Materials and Technologies Specialisations, Food and Fibre, Engineering Skills Languages - Japanese Students will receive their timetable on their first day of year 9. Year 9 at Upper Coomera State College is the final year of the Junior Secondary Phase of Education. Students in Year 9 complete compulsory studies in English, Mathematics, Humanities (History), Science and Health and Physical Education. Year 9 students also complete three lessons per week of a two elective subjects chosen during the Education and Career Planning interviews the previous year. Students will complete two elective subjects in each semester. All these opportunities are designed to provide the pre-requisite study for the elective subjects they select for Year 10.

Your First Day @ UCSC At 8:40am you will meet at the Sports Centre for your first assembly as a year 9 student. After you have met your new classmates, you will head off to your timetabled classes to enjoy some learning activities designed to build relationships with You may choose to wear your formal or sports uniform on this day. Remember you must have full leather, black lace up shoes. Bring along a book, pen / pencil, laptop or any other items you need to learn. Students engaging in the Student Resource Scheme (SRS) will be issued stationery kits in the first few days as payments are made. Bring your water bottle, morning tea and lunch or money for the tuck shop. Your First Week @ UCSC During your first week of high school, you will engage in activities within your timetabled classes around building relationship with teachers and peers, understanding the schoolwide expectations and learning how to navigate your way around the Secondary School campus.
