Before we became who we are today we were once little versions of ourselves with big dreams curious minds and so many little moments waiting to become memories. We all started as little children with our own stories and experiences. Some of us may not remember everything from those early years but the photographs kept by our families allow us to see the little versions of ourselves we once were. As we grew older we started learning new things and experiencing life in different ways. We played with our favorite toys. We went to school. We celebrated special occasions and spent time with the people who mattered to us. As the years passed we slowly changed and became more independent. We made friends. We faced challenges. We celebrated achievements and discovered more about ourselves. Looking through these old photographs reminds us that even the simplest moments became part of our story. This scrapbook brings those memories together so we can look back at where we started and appreciate how far we have come.Olivia, Ben, ReaIINNTTRROODDUUCCTTIIOONN IINNTTRROODDUUCCTTIIOONN

LloydBefore I was born, I developed inside my mother’s womb. My body and brain gradually formed while my family prepared for my birth. JessicaThis ultrasound photo shows me while I was still growing inside my mommy’s womb. I cannot remember this time, but it was the very beginning of my life, when I was slowly developing before I was born. HACKLE
Our prenatal stage was the beginning of our journey before we were born. During this time, we slowly grew and developed inside our mother’s womb as our body parts, organs, and senses began to form. These early experiences and conditions played an important role in our development and prepared us for life outside the womb. This reflects the developmental principle that development begins before birth and is a continuous process influenced by both biological and environmental factors.PRENATALWhere Our Journey Began

ADOLESCENCEDuring adolescence, we experienced many changes as we became more aware of ourselves, our abilities, and the people around us. Through dance performances and school activities, we developed our identity, self- expression, critical thinking, decision- making, and social relationships while becoming more independent. Our experiences show that development depends on maturation and learning, as our abilities continued to grow through both natural development and the skills we gained from practice and experience.Growing Through Adolescence
