The Mystery of the Giant Egg with Bobo, Mimi & Pip
One sunny morning, Bobo the bear, Mimi the bunny, and Pip the fox were playing in Sunny Meadow.
“Look!” said Pip. “What is THAT?” In the tall grass sat an egg. A GIANT egg!
“It is a rock,” said Bobo. Knock, knock, knock. But rocks do not go thump-thump.
“It is the moon!” said Mimi. But the moon is never warm like this.
“It is a dragon egg!” whispered Pip. Bobo and Mimi gulped. “A DRAGON?”
Plip! Plop! The rain came down. “Quick!” said Mimi. “The egg will get cold!” They made a leaf umbrella.
That night, Bobo wrapped the egg in his red scarf. Mimi and Pip sang a soft, sleepy song.
In the morning, the egg wobbled. Crack! Crack! CRACK!
Out popped a tiny yellow chick! “Peep!” it said. “Not a dragon at all!” laughed Pip.
WHOOSH! A giant shadow came down. It was Mama Bird! “Thank you for keeping my baby warm.”
Peep hopped. The friends waved goodbye. “What a mystery!” said Bobo. “Let’s play again!” The End
