This architecture portfolio by Rini Bobby presents three selected projects from 2026. The document is intended for potential clients, collaborators and academic audiences interested in the architect's design approach and technical work.
The first project is a cafeteria for Indira Gandhi Institute of Engineering and Technology in Kerala. The design works with the natural slope of the site rather than flattening it. An exposed steel frame with jali screens provides shading and cross-ventilation. The scope covers design concept, planning, elevation, technical drawings, material selection and site visits.
The second project is Threshold, a community space and landscape design for the same institute. It creates a gathering space that connects the Arts College to the larger campus while giving it its own identity. The design includes a raised deck, amphitheatre, pedestrian walkway and stepped planter boxes. Technical drawings show site plans, elevations and sections.
The third project is a residence for Mr. Somu on a compact trapezoidal site. The irregular geometry inspired interlocking volumes that appear as stacked boxes. The staircase along the eastern edge uses natural light and shadows throughout the day. The scope covers design concept, planning, elevation and technical drawings.
