CURATIVE NEXUS 1 Curative Nexus is a student-centred nursing and wellness facility serving the communities of Ryde and Fishbourne. The project brings together healthcare, education, and community living within a restor- ative environment designed to support both physical and mental well-being. Through the integration of natural elements, daylight, and carefully planned circulation, the scheme creates spaces that encourage healing, connection, and comfort. By fostering intergenerational interaction between students and local residents, Curative Nexus strengthens community bonds while promoting holistic care, learning, and healthy living.

SITE LOCATION SDGs (SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALs) ISLE OF WIGHT HEALTHCARE RESEARCH GP GAP IN ISLE OF WIGHT • Healthwatch Isle of Wight drew attention to a “lack of specialist consultants leading to delays in treatment” and a “ lack of access to NHS dentistry” as key issues facing islanders • GP practices and dental services dominated the complaints, accounting for the two most common feedback topics during the reporting period. • Islanders continue to struggle with accessing GP appointments, with many reporting ongoing difficulties getting through to their local practices. • There is 17 GP practices across 14 location in the Isle of Wight. • Healthwatch Isle of Wight’s February to march 2025 report, the watchdogs latest finding shows an increase in overall positive feedback of 48% (210), compared to 45% which is negative (196) and 7% recorded as mixed or neutral (31) CLIENT BRIEF

MAPLE TREE • Ash tree can grow up to 40 meters tall and have a lifespan of around 300 years. • Ash tree is valued for its strength and is used in various appliation. • Ash tree is important to the biodiversity, provding a habitat for various species of flora and fauna. REFUGEES CENTRE As refugees move to a new country in search of a better life for themselves and their families, they face significant sacrifices and challenges. This project aims to create a safe and supportive space where refugees can rebuild their sense of belonging, overcome their concerns, and foster commu- nity through meaningful spatial relationships and a strong connection to Portsmouth Harbour. 2

BRANSBURY NURSERY 3 Bransbury Nursery, located within Bransbury Park in Portsmouth, is designed to provide playful and inspiring environments where children can explore, learn, and develop. The nursery is ar- ranged across several buildings, encouraging movement, interaction, and access to outdoor play areas while ensuring a safe and secure setting. Its design promotes imagination, independence, and curiosity, giving children opportunities to discover, experiment, and grow through exploration in an engaging and supportive environment.
