In a sunny green field, there lived a little rabbit named Rosie. She had a big pile of shiny orange carrots beside her cozy little spot. The grass was soft, the sun was warm, and Rosie felt very proud of her carrots

Rosie liked her carrots so much that she hugged them close. She wiggled her nose and said, “Mine, mine, all mine!” with a big proud grin. She thought her pile was the most special pile in the whole field.

Soon, her friends came hopping by. Bunny Ben, Squirrel Sue, and Mouse Mimi smiled and waved. “Can we have one carrot, Rosie?” they asked politely.

Rosie hugged her carrots even tighter. “Nope! These are my special carrots!” she said with a little giggle. Then she shook her head in a silly way, as if the carrots were only for her.

After that, Rosie tried to carry all her carrots at once. She piled them high in her paws and began to wobble. “Whoa,” she whispered, “this is a lot of carrots!”

Oops! Her paws slipped, and plop! She tumbled into a muddy hole. Her fur got messy, her carrots rolled around, and she looked very stuck. Rosie blinked in surprise and let out a tiny squeak.

“Help!” cried Rosie. “I am wiggly, squishy, muddy, and very, very stuck!” She wriggled and squirmed, but the mud held her tight. “Oh no, oh no,” she said, “I need my friends!”

Bunny Ben, Squirrel Sue, and Mouse Mimi rushed over right away. “Don’t worry, Rosie!” they said. Together they pulled and pushed and puffed with all their might until Rosie popped free.

Rosie looked at her kind friends and felt warm inside. “I was wrong,” she said softly. “I should share my carrots with you.” Then she gave each friend a carrot with a happy smile.

Soon everyone munched carrots together and laughed in the sunny field. Rosie felt happy to share, and her friends felt happy too.

Moral: Sharing makes everyone feel happy and helps friends stay kind.
