This is an architecture and interior design portfolio by Lvlianne Vorster. It is intended for prospective clients, employers, or academic reviewers interested in the designer's approach to spatial design, materiality, and concept development across different project types.
The first project is a 350 m² Biodiversity Centre at Lapalala Wilderness School, with a construction budget of R17,000 per m². The design concept, called The Living Link, organises spaces along a linear journey: exhibition room, laboratory, multi-functional presentation space, reflection space, and café. A linear garden called the Living Spine connects the main spaces and brings nature into the centre.
The second project is the redesign of Penthouse Unit 5.1, a 155 m² luxury residence in Waterkloof Heights, Pretoria. The scope includes the foyer, kitchen, laundry, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and an open-plan lounge and dining area. The material palette features walnut timber, marble, textured ceramics, muted green accents, and soft neutral finishes.
The third project is a craft coffee micro-roastery and café that integrates a non-coffee South African brand into the customer experience. The design concept, Golden Oat Café, is based on the Jungle Oats brand. Required spaces include a partially visible roastery, beverage bar, café seating, and a flexible event space.
