CLASSROOM CONNECTION CASA 3 Dear Parents, This week, we continued our exciting journey through the digestive system by learning about the large intestine and how our bodies make poop! After the small intestine absorbs all the nutrients our bodies need, the leftover food moves into the large intestine. Here, water is absorbed, and the remaining food waste is formed into poop. We learned that pooping is a normal and healthy part of our daily lives—everyone poops! To make our learning even more fun, we sang our Digestive System Song and enjoyed reading the story Everyone Poops by Taro Gomi. The children had lots of giggles while discovering how amazing our bodies are! Have a lovely weekend ~Dilini

CLASSROOM CONNECTION BIAN DANG BAN 亲爱的家长, 这三周学习主题《动物》，小朋友认识到动物是指会自己跑跑跳跳，肚子饿了要吃东西，还会用眼睛看、耳朵听、鼻子闻的小生命。我们讲了宠物（如猫、狗）、农场动物（如鸡、牛）、野生动物（如狮子、老虎）。语言讲述活动—主题《小鸡出壳》、《怎么照顾小猫》和《鸡的生长过程》，教导幼儿了解动物的生长过程或照顾小动物的方法。通过观察、讲述，小朋友们也学习如何使用完整句子，如：“小鸡是从……里孵出来的”或“我要给小猫喂……”。培养幼儿对小动物的爱心和观察力，提高语言表达能力。古诗诵读《咏鹅》，这首诗描绘了鹅在水中嬉戏的生动画面。儿歌/律动 - 《一只哈巴狗》、《小小鸡蛋》、《猴子和鳄鱼》、《什么最漂亮》、《动物早操》故事 - 《狮子先生换衣服》、《小鸡出生记》、《好忙的蜘蛛》互动提问游戏 - 《猜鼻子》、《猜尾巴》、《猜动物》烹饪活动 - 《动物饼干》祝大家周末愉快！华文老师：亓老师 /王老师/ 赵老师
