Target: record 100% of purchases daily, and keep total spending within my allowance for 8 straight weeks..Carry only the amount I plan to spend; make a quick list before going out; update my expense log before the day ends.Tracking my spending helps me avoid running out of money, build good saving habits, value what I have, and practice responsible stewardship as a Licean.Start this habit August 15, 2026, keep doing it until the end of the First Semester, and review my records every Sunday.Every week I will check: Did I list everything? Did I stay within budget? What did I spend too much on?If I forget to write entries, I will set a daily phone reminder. If my limit feels too tight, I will adjust it after checking what I really need versus what I just want.SECTION 1: The Self-Determination RoadmapIdentified Challenge: I often spend money on things I want without planning, and I do not keep a record of what I buy. This makes me run out of allowance early, leaves no savings for important needs, and leads to unnecessary worry going against the Licean values of Stewardship, Discipline, and Integrity.GOAL: Better Track & Manage Personal SpendingResilience is our foundation; relationship is our strength. We are Licean, always.
SECTION 2: CONFLICT RESOLUTION CASE APPLICATION I often feel very anxious around others because I am afraid of being judged, that people will misunderstand what I say, or that they will see me as a bad person. During oral recitations or presentations, I sometimes feel panic rise up—worried that I will sound wrong, seem unintelligent, or answer incorrectly. I get hurt easily even by small things, and when I want to explain how I truly feel, I freeze up and cannot speak. I also carry constant fear of being treated unfairly, leaving me feeling anxious and afraid in almost every situation. This holds me back from connecting with others and doing my best, and goes against the Licean values of Self-Worth, Courage, and Integrity.Instead of staying silent or letting fear take over, I will use a gentle self-preparation and small-step expression method. Before speaking in class or talking to others, I will take three slow deep breaths and remind myself: “My thoughts matter, and trying is already brave.” For recitations, I will write down my answer in short notes first, so I have something to hold onto if I get nervous. If I feel misunderstood or hurt, I will start with simple phrases like “I feel that…” or “What I mean is…” instead of forcing myself to explain everything at once. If panic starts to rise, I will pause and say politely: “May I take a moment to think?” — it is okay to go at my own pace. I will also remind myself that most people care more about getting to know me than judging me, and being nervous does not mean I am less capable. This approach helps me build courage slowly, speak my truth with care, and treat myself with kindness as I grow stronger in confidence.Novel Solution AnalysisMy Conflict Dynamic
SECTION 3:THE CROSS-DOMAIN ACCOUNTABILITY PACTMy Key Habit: Gentle Self- Confidence & Clear Expression🎓 ACADEMIC DOMAIN🤝 SOCIAL / PERSONAL DOMAINFear of judgment and panic stops me from reciting, sharing ideas, or asking questions. This keeps me from participating fully, showing what I know, and growing in class.Anxiety makes me hold back my true thoughts, misunderstand others easily, or feel hurt by small things. It stops me from building open, honest connections with people around me.WHAT I WILL DOHOW I WILL DO ITWHENHOW I WILL CHECKPause and calm myself before speakingTake 3 slow deep breaths; remind myself “My voice matters”Every time I feel nervous or need to speakDaily quick note: Did I pause before reacting?Check if I could speak more smoothlyEnd-of- day check: Was I kind to myself today?Weekly reflection: How many times did I speak up?Before class or talking to othersWrite down 1–2 key points for recitations or conversatio nsWhenever I feel scared or judgedEach school dayShare one thought or ask one question per subjectSay “Trying is brave” instead of “I might look stupid”Prepare simple thoughts aheadReplace fear with kindness to myselfSpeak up even in small ways
To every young heart feeling afraid, and to myself: Everything I wrote in this guide, from planning my allowance wisely, to setting brave goals, to facing the fears that hold me back, all comes down to this: my life is worth protecting, nurturing, and living fully. Being a teenager already feels like walking through a storm you did not ask for, full of noise, eyes watching, voices whispering, and fears that tell you you are not enough. It is normal to feel small sometimes, to worry you will be misunderstood, to freeze up when you want to speak, or to think everyone else has it all figured out while you are still finding your way. It is okay to feel anxious, to get hurt easily, or to be scared of being treated unfairly. Those feelings do not make you weak; they make you human. There will be days when the pain feels so heavy it seems like it will never end. Days when you might think that ending your life is the only way out. But I have learned through every plan I made and every fear I named that feeling is real, but it is not the truth. The pain you feel right now will not stay this sharp forever, even when it feels like it will. This roadmap I built is proof that even when things feel broken, we can still take small steps forward. I learned that managing my money is not just about being careful. It is about respecting the life I am building. That setting SMARTER goals is not just about getting high grades. It is about believing I have a future worth preparing for. And that facing my anxiety is not just about speaking up in class. It is about protecting the voice and heart that make me me. You do not have to prove your worth to anyone. You are not defined by how well you speak, how much you have, what others think, or how long it takes you to be brave. Your value is already there, written in how you care, how you try, and how you keep going even when every part of you wants to stop. Growth is not a race, and you do not have to rush. It is okay to pause, to breathe, to rest, or to ask for help. You will make mistakes, you will stumble, you will feel fear, but none of those things will ever take away how precious your life is. If you ever feel like you cannot carry it all alone, reach out to a friend, a teacher, or anyone who will listen. You do not have to walk this path by yourself. Resilience is not never being afraid. It is moving forward, one quiet brave step at a time, until one day you look back and realize you became stronger than you ever thought possible. This is my promise, and it is for you too: I will guard my life, value my worth, and keep going because there is still so much to live for. Resilience is our foundation; relationship is our strength. We are Licean, and we are still growing, and that is more than enough. 𝓓𝓪𝓮𝓵𝓲𝓪 THIS IS MY TRUTHResilience is my foundation; my path is my strength. — 𝓓𝓪𝓮𝓵𝓲𝓪 —
