Course at a Glance 18 Holes | Par 72 | 7,509 Yards Designer: Tom Fazio Original Course: Robert Trent Jones Sr., in 1995 Redesigned: 2016–2017 Reopened: April 2018 Bunkers: 41 Signature Setting: River Maigue Past Events: Irish Open and JP McManus Pro-Am Future Host: 2027 Ryder Cup A Championship Course with a Storied Past Golf at Adare Manor began in its modern form in 1995, when legendary golf course architect Robert Trent Jones Sr. designed the original championship course on the estate. The course quickly established itself on Ireland’s golf scene and went on to host the Irish Open in 2007 and 2008, along with several editions of the prestigious JP McManus Pro-Am. As part of an extensive redevelopment of Adare Manor, the golf course underwent a complete transformation in 2016 and 2017 under renowned American architect Tom Fazio. Rather than simply renovating the existing layout, Fazio and his team essentially rebuilt the course from the ground up, incorporating state-of-the-art drainage, championship-level playing surfaces and infrastructure specifically designed to accommodate major international golf events. The reimagined course opened in April 2018. The course returned to the international spotlight in 2022, when the JP McManus Pro-Am welcomed many of the biggest names in professional golf. More than 40,000 spectators attended each day, with Xander Schauffele capturing the title. The Road to the Ryder Cup Adare Manor will step onto one of golf’s biggest stages when it hosts the 2027 Ryder Cup, September 13–19, 2027. The event will mark the 100th anniversary of the Ryder Cup, which was first contested in 1927. It will also be only the second Ryder Cup held in Ireland, following The K Club in 2006. With its combination of Irish countryside, championship design, meticulous conditioning and the unmistakable grandeur of Adare Manor, the course offers a golf experience worthy of its place on the world stage. Adare Manor Golf Club Overview The Golf Course at Adare Manor Set within the breathtaking grounds of Adare Manor and winding along the banks of the River Maigue, The Golf Course at Adare Manor is considered one of Ireland’s premier championship golf experiences. The 18-hole, par-72 parkland course stretches to 7,509 yards from the championship tees, combining immaculate playing conditions with mature trees, sweeping fairways, strategic bunkering and dramatic water features.

Relax, swing smooth, and enjoy the day! Good etiquette helps everyone play better and have more fun! Take Care of the Course Fix your divots and ball marks—leave the course better than you found it. Rake the bunker after your shot (bonus points if it looks freshly combed!). Behavior on the Greens Mark your ball if it’s in someone’s putting line—use a coin or marker. Wait your turn—generally, the player farthest from the hole putts rst. Be still and quiet while others are setting up and taking their shots. Pace of Play Be ready when it’s your turn. Take a couple practice swings—not a dozen Keep up with the group ahead, not just ahead of the group behind. Playing in a Group Don’t walk in someone’s putting line—it’s sacred ground! Offer encouragement—it’s a game, not a job interview. General Notes Ask questions if you’re unsure—everyone was a beginner once. Respect the game, the course, and each other. Have fun. Seriously. That’s the whole poi Golf Etiquette
