P U N EOnly for private circulation within Deloitte India Beyond Scale: Reimagining the Value of GCCs On 12th August 2026, 30+ leaders from leading organisations came together in Pune for the "GCC Leadership Roundtable," which was hosted by Yash Makharia and the GBS team to facilitate an interactive discussion on AI, talent, capability building and what GCC value could look like by 2030. The conversation highlighted how GCCs need to think about value today: Beyond FTEs: moving from measuring scale and AI adoption to demonstrating business outcomes will make value measurement frameworks increasingly critical. AI with accountability: AI can amplify capability; however, human ownership, domain expertise and validation remain essential. The economics of AI: as AI adoption scales, understanding the cost of accessing and deploying AI models, or "tokenomics," will become increasingly important. Reskilling by design: the next generation of GCC talent will need stronger domain expertise, multidisciplinary skills and technology fluency while building on strong operational foundations.

PEOPLE UNPLUGGEDPEOPLE UNPLUGGED On 9 Nov 2025, I completed Ironman 70.3 Goa in 6 hr 37 min, conquering a 1.9 km swim, 90 km bike ride, and 21.1 km run. What started as a promise five years ago became a daily commitment. Along the journey, I lost 9.5 kg, reduced my cholesterol by 77 points, improved my VO₂ Max by 9 points, completed six audiobooks, and regained decade-old trousers. Ironman proved that extraordinary results come from consistent effort. Next stop: the Ladakh Marathon on 13 Sep 2026 at 11,000 ft. The finish line changes, but the mindset remains the same, every achievement begins with Day One. - Shubham Vashishtha (Strategy, Risk & Transactions) My colleagues probably know me as someone who works in consulting, but they may not know that I have a completely different “project” running in parallel—my own transformation! I went from 180 kg to 95 kg, and what started as a health goal evolved into a passion for walking, jogging and cycling. I recently completed my first 10 km, and I'm now working on becoming fitter rather than simply lighter. The unexpected lesson? The biggest transformation wasn't my weight—it was discovering that I actually enjoy pushing my physical limits. Apparently, my most challenging project isn't always on a PowerPoint slide! - Raajeev Ramrakhyani (Technology & Transformation) Unstoppable Spirit P U N EOnly for private circulation within Deloitte India Transformation Driven Beyond Comfort I am a trained Bharatanatyam and Classical dancer, and my journey with dance has been filled with learning, discipline, and countless memorable moments. One of my proudest milestones was completing my Visharad in Bharatanatyam at the age of 18. Over the years, my love for dance has also taken me to National and International-level dance competitions, giving me opportunities to perform, compete, and experience the joy of being on stage. For me, every mudra, every rhythm, and every performance tells a story. - Isha Tapdiya (Audit & Assurance)Rhythm Within Standing at 5,895 metres on Uhuru Peak, Africa’s highest point, was an unforgettable milestone. Climbing Kilimanjaro, the world’s highest free-standing mountain, meant journeying through forests, moorlands, alpine desert, and finally a snow-covered summit. The altitude, cold, and exhaustion tested both physical and mental endurance, but the simple mantra of “one step at a time” and the support of the team kept us moving. Watching the sunrise from the summit was humbling, proving that the greatest rewards often lie beyond our comfort zones. Grateful for the journey, the people, and the memories. The Roof of Africa conquered! - Trusha Bhute (Strategy, Risk & Transactions) Have a passion, achievement, or story to share? Drop a note to intalentpune@deloitte.com for a chance to be featured!
